Video // Week in the Life 2015

Sharing a video flip-thru of my 2015 Week in the Life layouts.

This album was a 2014/2015 album, but as I have since scrapbooked more of 2015, I separated it out into a new album.

You can get a glimpse of my digital 2014 WITL layouts.

Both times I have completed WITL I did not use a kit and just used my stash. For 2014 I was strictly digital, but for 2015 it was more hybrid. I mostly used my iPhone for adding text to photos with the help of a few apps. For more info on that check out this post.

I enjoyed both ways of doing it for different reasons. The digi version was easier to complete in a timely fashion. The hybrid was more colorful and fun to me. I feel like I did better with journaling details in 2015. I liked including some separate full page layouts in 2015. But 2015 definitely took me longer to finish!

As you can see from the video, I generally scrapbook chronologically regardless of the size of the layout. I like the mixed sizes and feeling the different textures in the book. It’s a little old school I guess.

I’m currently making plans for WITL 2016 next week. Trying to think about what works and what doesn’t for me.

    1. I have the individual layouts posted in different entries back when I completed it last fall. If you search WITL you can find them!
I will try to go slower – I am new to videos so just learning 🙂

  1. I love the mix of sizes and types in your album. It’s quite beautiful. I always hope to participate, even if during a different week and never get around to it.

  2. This is a great looking album, I’m intending to do a yearly project starting on my birthday next month , I think I’m going to try digital this time around.
