Day 2 of documenting December and am going strong. Keeping it super simple. I realized I am out of 4×6 Canon glossy photo paper II, so note to self to pick up or order some more. In the meantime, I cut down some 8.5×11 sheets to get these photos printed.
Since I am mixing page protectors, I added a little tab to the 6×8 page protector to see it better. I adhered the tab to the outside of the page protector using Glue Dots glue strips on each side.
It was the perfect excuse of a day to scrap, as we had tickets for a local Christmas house tour. I’ve done one of these in the past and they are fun to get decorating ideas for the season.
I included 2 photos. For the “2” to be seen on the journal card I cut around it with my exacto knife and slid the photo behind it. I love layering designs from background paper over photos, it’s one of those techniques I come back to often.
I included the ticket in the bottom pocket and some journaling & embellishment. Note the photo of me & my incredible significant other, who enthusiastically (& full of hilarious anecdotes) accompanied me through an event dominated mostly by women! I am aware how lucky I am. ❤
I think it’s unusual that I will scrap daily, so I am pondering some stories I want to record and jotting down ideas/notes. I am trying to focus less on the photos and more on the stories in a way.
