I feel good to be done with my Week in the Life layouts a week before Thanksgiving. It’s one of those projects that I try to finish as close to the actual dates as possible as to keep it fresh in my mind. Changing from a digital version to a hybrid/almost more traditional version took more time to complete.
Here are my final two layouts which were stories to fill in between the daily photos.
I had this idea to sort of do a newsletter layout page to sum up some stories that I didn’t have photos for or that just were small things I wanted to note from the week. I tried not to get too hung up on the design and just get it done. I love infographics and wish I could’ve been a little more creative with this, something to keep in mind for the future.

The layout is mostly digital, using the same Amatic font that I used throughout WITL layouts. I took a snip of the Pinterest pins I pinned that week, as well as including some news events. Screenshots of texts and lyrics from songs that played that week.
After printing I added some lines, a pie doodle, the dates from my label buddy, rub-on words and puffy stickers to embellish.

It was also important for me to include a throwback Thursday photo to the prior week when my nephew was visiting. I love this photo of him in the pool!
For the other layout I wanted something to fill in the empty slot on the back of the other 12×12 layout I made for the Saturday story. I had two stories I jotted down on the back of my daily sheets I wanted to include.
I chose a simple approach using some elements from my favorite Simple Stories collections: 24/7 & Say Cheese. The background pattern paper is from Fancy Pants Down by the Shore line.

I ended up just handwriting the stories, layering some elements, and adding the alpha stickers.

Super simple. As always.
I am going to try to video the entire week of layouts in my album to share.
